Fund Raising Kit by Designers Kay Eflin and Ruth Davis

Inspiration for Courage to Fly came from the women who Walk for the Cure for Breast Cancer each year. Kay Eflin and Ruth Davis combined their talents to create and dedicate Courage to Fly to designer Ruth Davis mother, Mary, who lost her battle to cancer in 1962.

The proceeds of this $4.00 kit will be donated to CT Karen Halgren’s Walk for the Cure Fund for her November 3-day walk in Arizona.

The kit is softly textured and versatile enough to be used for heritage, friendship, journaling and romance.

Heritage Scrapping of My Dear Husband

My dh died four years ago….scrapping his memory has been a way for me to honor him and begin to heal the grief and loneliness without him.   He is deeply missed by his children and grandchildren, his siblings and many nieces and nephews.

This sweet photo is over 60 years old.  It’s my dh and his cousin at a family reunion in the 40s in Iowa.  With just a few vintage elements, it’s easy to provide a unique setting for a special keepsake photo.  I used several of my kits from www.e-scapeandscrap.net.
